The project comprised a stylish 9-storey, 58 apartment complex with basement and ground floor retail and office. The apartment building included extensive outdoor entertainment areas, decks and balconies, internal common areas, gymnasium, and ground floor café. In addition, 8 two level townhouses were constructed and the full renovation of heritage “St Margaret’s” heritage house into commercial offices. As part of the development, a 2-level contemporary office building was built to the East which compliments the stylish development. Marshall & Brougham were asked to assist the developer to complete the project from early in its construction and facilitated all construction, purchaser changes, and final handover.

This distinctive contemporary design incorporates two six level towers on a complex basement car park podium which includes 36 high quality apartments, two levels of car parking and shop front ground floor tenancies. The building is located on three boundaries requiring deep excavation adjacent to heritage properties to the east and west and busy Norwood Parade on the north side. Marshall & Brougham were engaged by Adelaide Benevolent Society as construction managers prior to the documentation phase of the project and were responsible for coordinating the project team, providing cost planning advice, construction methodology, obtaining all necessary approvals and managing the construction phase. The project comprises 6 two storey dwellings, 6 single storey dwellings and a 3 storey apartment building containing 12 dwellings along with 28 car parks, civil works and landscaping.
