Located on over 110,000m² of vacant land adjacent to the new Murray Bridge Horse Racing Club, this project required extensive civil and stormwater enabling works. It consisted of construction of six horse stable buildings, 70-metre long equine pool, training enclosures and horse walkers, and vehicle and float parking.

Construction of an integrated complex comprising interpretive centre, staff office accommodation, workshops, and store buildings for field services operations. Extensive workshops, set downs and storage areas were built which now serve as an important hub for the Council’s maintenance and building department. It was built adjacent to wetlands where extreme care was required during all building works. This project received a Building Excellence Award from the Australian Institute of Building.
